| IAPPM has proudly launched the South
African country chapter during in 2007 with representation in
Midrand, Gauteng under the leadership of Mr. Sibusiso Gumede
as Chapter President. It is the aim and vision of IAPPM to jointly
provide alternative sources of knowledge, content and information
speicifc to practicing Project Managers, Students, Programme
Managers, PMO's, Business Analyst and captains of industry alike.
IAPPM recognises the leadership and challenges faced in driving
forward the needs of the project and analyst community and as
such, new or prospective Members are invited to apply for IAPPM
membership online. The information entered online will be submitted
directly to IAPPM headoffice for processing.
  
Goals of the South African IAPPM chapter
1. Promote global Project & Programme Management with
the inclusion of business leadership
2. Foster a community of like-minded professionals that can
compete globally with standard knowledge and certifications
3. Operate any Special Interest Groups for individuals in
all provinces and industries
4. Work on projects or needs of the project profession
